Quinn’s Auction Galleries is proud to present our February 24th Fine and Decorative Arts Auction  featuring Asian, American, European, and Modern arts. 

Offering a fine selection of 19th century European paintings, 20th century landscapes, and Folk Art works from New Orleans and Georgia. A collection of works by celebrated Native American artists, Neil Randall David Sr., Lomawywesa, Doc Tate Nevaquaya, Gilbert Atencio, and more. An array of Old Master style drawings and studies of Classical motifs from Italian, French, and Continental Schools. 

Modern furniture, such as a Broyhill “Brasilia” room divider and a Modeline Model 910 floor lamp, and a collection of antique furniture, including a variety of French bergère and fauteuil chairs, a Louis XV bureau plat desk, and a Victorian conversation sofa. 

Also, Dodie Thayer lettuce ware pieces, Herend ‘Chinese Bouquet’ porcelain services, Royal Crown Derby services, and other decorative items such as European terracotta sculptures, and French gilt chandeliers, candlesticks and sconces.  

A selection of silver including a Tiffany & Co. Wave Edge flatware service, Reed and Barton Francis I flatware service, and a German Bruckmann and Sohne tea set. Also, a variety of fine jewelry and watches such as a 3.14ct round brilliant cut diamond solitaire ring, a 18k pearl and diamond necklace, and a 14k gold Mathey Repeater pocket watch.

In addition, an array of Asian decorative arts including Japanese and Chinese porcelain, modern and traditional Japanese woodblocks, and Chinese jade carvings.

Featuring modern firearms, such as a 1935 boxed 1911A1 Commercial pistol, a Colt Python .357 revolver, a 1943 Steyr Kar 98 rifle, and a Browning BSS Sporter 20 Gauge shotgun. As well as antique firearms including a Balkan Ottoman Miquelet parcel gilt musket and a  U.S. Army Colt Model 1894 Army revolver. 

A collection of swords including a Hussar szabla silver filigree sword ,an Italian Schiavona basket hilted sword, and an Ottoman Yatagan sword. 

Featuring a collection of items from Lieutenant General James R. Brown of the U.S. Air Force (1930-2015) and U.S. Air Force  Brigadier General Von R. Shores (1912-1974), featuring Gen. Shores’ flight log book, Gen. Brown’s Type  HGU-55/P Flight Helmet, and Gen. Brown’s 1960 William Tell flight suit.
